To assist in the global effort to stem the spread of COVID-19, we have made the decision to postpone the CSCA Annual General Meeting this Sunday, March 22nd.
We are investigating our options around alternative ways to enable a remote AGM, dependent on not-for-profit regulations. Ultimately, we may need to delay the AGM past the latest allowable date of April 30th as set out in the Constitution. Depending on how long these measures remain in effect, we are also considering how it may impact the start of the regatta season and will be working with the various regatta chairs to establish a policy decision on this in the coming weeks. In all cases, adherence to government direction on COVID-19 to ensure the safety of our Members and your families is our primary consideration.
This is new territory for everyone, so please be patient as we work through these issues.
