With just under 4 months until the Worlds come home to Niagara, the organizing committee is working hard to make this a memorable event on and off the water.
In addition to world-class racing led by Race Director Richard Hinterhoeller, the daily line-up of music, beverages, and food will be a great way to catch up with old friends and make new ones. The Caribbean Night—complete with steel band—should not be missed!
The regatta runs from August 18th to 25th, with measurement starting on August 18th. The cost to register is $725.00.
We are asking our European friends to register as soon as possible so we can arrange loaner boats.
Recently voted Tripadvisor’s second most popular destination in Canada, Niagara-on-the-lake is world-renowned for its theatre, wineries, craft breweries, restaurants, and historic sites.
August is the high season, so if you plan to stay in a hotel, B&B, or holiday rental, we’d suggest making accommodation arrangements as early as possible. Information about on-site camping and trailering is in the General Information notice on Yacht Scoring.
REGISTER & PAY BEFORE MAY 31 FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A NEW SAIL
If you need further enticement, on June 1st one early registrant will win their choice of a new shark main, 180, or spinnaker, generously donated by fellow Sharkie Tac Boston and the Doyle Boston loft. We’ll draw one boat from all those REGISTERED and PAID before May 31, 2023. There are 30 boats already registered!
