Tiger Niles Wins 2017 Shark of the Year!

Congratulations to Peter Aker and the crew of Tiger Niles (CAN 1489) from Bay of Quinte Yacht Club in Belleville, ON. Peter’s rotating crew consisted of Jeff Mitchell, David O’Sullivan, David Foy, and Jamie Foy at various regattas. This is Tiger Niles’ second SOTY Award in back-to-back wins in 2016 and 2017. Well done Niles!

Congratulations to Michele Toohey, Julia Rafaghello, and Sarah Foscarini on CAN 815 from National Yacht Club in Toronto, ON for winning Women’s Shark of the Year!

Congratulations also goes out to:
2nd Place: Levi, Malcolm, and Jacob Harper, and Georgina Gardner of Rampant (CAN 1012) from Niagara-on-the-Lake Sailing Club.
3rd Place: James and Rory Gardner, and Tara Cabrera of Frost Bite (CAN 290) from Niagara-on-the-Lake Sailing Club.

Well done to all of the other 10 boats that committed to travelling to multiple regattas to qualify for Shark of the Year standings!
